Artist Bio

A.P. is a local artist who grew up in Mebane, North Carolina. He has been painting and drawing since childhood. He enjoys working in watercolor, acrylics and mixed media. His work includes landscapes, still life’s, barn quilts, beach scenes and flowers.
A.P.’s earlier paintings depicted country landscapes and structures with attention to detail such as cracks in barn wood and rusty nails of days gone by. More recently he has enjoyed painting flowers with acrylics and designing barn quilts painted on AluPoly ACM Board.
