All my work, whether painting, assemblage, or wearable art, is inspired by color and the Golden Ratio. Can’t help it — I’m a synesthete. It’s all intended to bring delight.

Artist Bio

Although I’ve been an artist all my life, I took a long detour into molecular biology. In lieu of getting a degree in fine arts, I began taking workshop after workshop, and found wonderful mentors along the winding way. For 30 years I worked as a decorative painting contractor for several prominent interior designers. When prudence dictated that ladder work must cease, I returned to the studio full time.
I am proud to be a founding member of Alamance Artisans. My works can be found in public and private collections around the Southeast and beyond.
