Artist Bio
I am retired from the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service, North Carolina State University. I have always enjoyed arts and crafts. Upon retirement, I decided to improve my painting skills. I began taking watercolor classes at Alamance Community College, and attended art and craft classes and workshops with well known artists. In 2014, I started Second Half Creations to promote my work. Currently, I teach children and youth art classes as well as give private lessons. I also teach colored pencil classes for adults. I am a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, the District 114 Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society, The Watercolor Society of North Carolina, Alamance Artisans Guild, and the Burlington Artist League. I currently serve as President of Alamance Arts.
