I'm excited to have the time to devote to my artistic pursuits now that I've retired. I enjoy turning things we see around us into something that is visually interesting.

Artist Bio

Vic Vickers is an Elon native—and not just any native. He’s one of only three fourth-generation students to grace the halls of Elon.
Though retired from ARMC, Vic’s résumé reads like a bucket list: he once worked for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus (yes, the actual circus), and spent time in sales in Germany, he's an RN.
In the mid-70s, Vic traded his sketchpad for a paintbrush and never looked back. He was also the cartoonist for several newspapers in the 90s, bringing wit and whimsy to the masses. And if you’ve ever admired the Mickey Mouse Barn in Whitsett, you’ve seen Vic’s handiwork.
